Electronic Systems Wins Northrop Grumman Information Systems Sector Top Supplier Award
Virginia Beach, Virginia—November 24, 2009—Electronic Systems, Inc. (ESI) announced today that it has been honored as a top performing supplier by Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Information Systems sector. The award was given to companies whose technical innovations, quality products and services, and outstanding performance have significantly benefitted Northrop Grumman and its government and commercial customers.

Northrop Grumman presented the awards at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia in mid November. Honorees were selected after meeting the highest criteria for supplier schedule, management performance and responsiveness, technical performance, financial performance, and quality and mission assurance.

ESI was selected as one of 24 winners of the prestigious award out of 10,000 eligible suppliers. The company has a long-standing relationship with Northrop Grumman Newport News’ shipbuilding sector, and supplies a variety of products and services to the company, including: Cisco unified communications technology, computer hardware, on-site technical support, and asset life cycle management.
