John Hagerty Joins Electronic Systems as Director, Public Sector Sales

Richmond, Virginia—October 19, 2009—Electronic Systems, Inc. (ESI) announced today that John Hagerty has joined the company as Director, Public Sector Sales for the company’s information technology solutions division. In this role, John will be responsible for overseeing ESI’s presence in the public sector market, and tailoring the company’s strategy and solutions to meet the unique needs of its public sector customers.

Prior to joining ESI, John spent 25 years working for Hewlett Packard in progressively responsible sales and sales management positions. Most recently, he held the position of Enterprise Account Manager where he managed all sales oriented activities for the company’s large public sector client base throughout the state of Virginia.

ESI’s is the region’s largest integrator for public sector customers, and offers a wide range of procurement options to solve complex business problems while reducing operational costs. The company holds dozens of direct contracts with various public sector entities, such as educational institutions, healthcare organizations, as well as state, local, and federal governments.

John received his Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Leo University, and will be based in the company’s Richmond area office. He will report to Brett Morris, Vice President of Sales for ESI’s Information Solutions Group.
